A workout log that shows progress, not just history

A notebook or a notes app can record what you did, but it can't show you whether you're getting anywhere. This template keeps the log, and puts the trends next to it: how much work you're doing each week, how your body weight is moving, and whether you're hitting the number of sessions you planned.

Volume, week by week

The sets chart splits each week into upper and lower body, so imbalances show up on their own. If one bar keeps shrinking while the other grows, that's a signal to adjust your plan, long before it turns into a plateau or an injury.

The numbers that keep you going

Your personal best sits at the top where you'll see it every time. Next to it, the monthly sessions bar answers the most important question in training, which is simply whether you showed up. Consistency beats intensity, and this makes it visible.

Make it yours

Rename the series to match how you train, whether that's push and pull, running and lifting, or anything else. Swap the deadlift for whichever lift you care about, and log each session in the table as you finish it.
